Toy museum opens at 9 a.m., but the morning time until 2 p.m. is for groups in kindergartens, schools, and other educational institutions. As we can accommodate a maximum of 60 visitors at a time, these visits are recorded and the groups arrive at the agreed time. Educators lead classes for groups, we cannot pay attention to individual visitors at that time, introduce them to the museum. When classes visit a museum, the environment is very noisy and busy, so we need to segregate these groups of visitors as much as possible.

Toy museum presents several educational programs that educators choose according to the topics or relevant activities discussed in the kindergarten, school. So even children who have visited the museum more than once have the opportunity to learn about the history of toys, childhood everyday topics in various aspects or to participate with friends in toy workshops. Each visit is unique as the children’s experience, their knowledge and ability to discuss expands. Educational sessions become deeper and deeper, their course is determined by children's participation, answers, laughter or questions. However, it is very important that a kindergarten group or class visit to the museum helps children to develop other personal competencies that are necessary for a cohesive team. Upon arrival at a cultural institution, by participating in non-formal education activities, children learn to explore together, share exhibits, take care of a friend nearby, give up a place, help, wait, control actions. The children of the class involved in the activity experience strong cognitive emotions together, which greatly brings the class closer together and strengthens their communion. Thus, a child who does not participate with the class loses the impressions and experiences that the classes had that day.

Research shows that what matters to children is important to their parents. Therefore, there is no age limit if parents are exploring together. Our exhibitions are designed for different age groups. Some things might be interesting for babies, other exhibits will attract the attention of older visitors. The older the visitor is, the deeper he perceives the topic of the museum. However, the most important thing is to have fun and learn new things, gain new experiences together with parents.

Savaitgaliais edukatoriai pasitinka lankytojus ir pristato muziejaus principą bei žaislų istoriją. Tai ypač svarbu pirmą kartą apsilankantiems lankytojams. Tokios įvadinės ekskursijos vyksta nuolatos. Jei lankytojų grupė yra didesnė nei 10 asmenų, tuomet siūlome paskambinti ir pranešti, kad galėtume reguliuoti srautus ir plačiau papasakoti. Už ekskursijas papildomo mokesčio nėra. Jei ekskursijos pageidaujate darbo dienos popietę, tuomet sutariame laiką ir laukiame Jūsų atvykstant. Už ekskursiją papildomai mokėti taip pat nereikia.
