From 22-10-2020 to 05-01-2021 the Toy Museum is showing the exhibition of porcelain dolls from the collection assembled for ten years by Ramunė Lovčytė-Vrubliauskienė. Each doll has its own story, its own world and its own name. The collector has named her dolls after people who donated them, people to whom they bear similarity or after literary characters. Glances, facial expressions, and clothing can evoke very different associations, memories, or take you to a fantasy world. The Toy Museum invites its visitors not only to admire the exhibits of the collection, but also to discuss what these dolls are for. Have you ever played with similar ones, would you allow children to play with them, or do you see them as an interior decoration? During the exhibition, we invite our visitors to express their opinion and vote.
