Delhi Doll Museum receives a Lithuanian doll

If you ever travel to India and visit Delhi, be sure to visit Shankar’s International Dolls Museum! The museum was created in 1965 by a journalist K. Shankar Pillai, who collected dolls himself and received them as gifts from many a famous person. The museum boasts 6500 dolls, among which you can now admire a Lithuanian doll with the national costume of Eastern Lithuania, a present from the our Toy Museum.
